The Nahum Harwood Residence
Leominster, MA

Built in 1886, the Nahum Harwood Mansion is a classic example of the "Italianate Mansard" style of
Victorian architecture.  The mansion is one of the few surviving examples of this style of architecture in
Leominster and in near original condition.  Nahum Harwood was a leading  industrialist and politician
in the City of Leominster in the late 19th Century.

The residence is featured in the following publications:

The property was considered for nomination to the National Historic Register in 2003, but later
withdrawn due to local opposition.
